Angi & Erik’s upcycled country barn wedding
This was a wedding with a lot of hidden surprises: I didn’t see the awesome bouquet, brunch buffet, and upcycled window/seating chart until I hit the Flickr set! There is a lot of DIY to see, a few repurposed items (bride’s dress, machinist-made rings!), and a whole lot of sweet details in this countrified barn wedding.
Adrian & Brian’s hippie carnival campout wedding
This wedding brought together the couple’s bohemian/artist/hippie/punk friends for a raucous campout. They may not be the best at RSVPing, but they definitely know how to show up in style. Plus, they were finally able to convince an awesome “Russian/Balkan/marching band meets punk rock dance party” band to play for them!
Wildflowers and farmland at this clifftop wedding in Wisconsin
Instead of feeling like a wedding, the goal was “first family reunion.” And after finding an awesome farm locale with hay rides and lawn games, the potluck dessert and flowers came naturally to finish off the event. Despite planning from a state away, these two found help in their friends and family to pull it off. Put on your farm boots and check it out.
