blue hair

We love our brides and grooms rocking their blue hair dye! Because sometimes your “something blue” can be your hair.  If you’re looking for more wedding hair inspiration (including other bold colors like pink, purple, and rainbow!), check out our wedding hair archive.

Vintage style & geometric touches at this vintage garage wedding

Vintage style & geometric touches at this vintage garage wedding

Amanda and Frank’s vintage garage wedding was a sea of colored hair and epic ink. The decor was geometric, totally avant garde, and just chic as hell.

Vivid colors meet goth chic at this moody & quirky wedding inspiration

Vivid colors meet goth chic at this moody & quirky wedding inspiration

One of my favorite combinations of styles is vivid color meets dark goth glam. And this dark & moody wedding inspiration has both in abundance. With florals ranging from purple scabiosa to black willows, a sweets table full of candy apples and a tower of macarons, and two brides rocking gold antlers, turquoise hair, and coordinating (but not matchy-matchy!) whie and gray gowns, it’s a gorgeous display with an eerie and chic vibe.

The hottest wedding ever: a fire & performance themed wedding

The hottest wedding ever: a fire & performance themed wedding (where the brides burned their dresses!)

The theme of our wedding was performance. We are professional performers and have lots of performing friends. We had many different performances from Burlesque, Fire, Aerial, Dance, Hip-Hop, Belly Dance, Singing, Juggling, and more.

But the wildest part was that we ended the ceremony by lighting our dresses on fire!

Love + intention: a Wiccan park wedding with a breastfeeding baby as the “bouquet”

I’m a witch, my husband is not. He knows now after being with me this long that I care a great deal about ritual, intention, and love. So, we set out to do everything by hand. We braided our own handfasting rope, we decorated our broom together, we brewed mead together, we painted and created our whole twelve (12!) invitations together. During anything we did, we lit a red candle, and we would hush to each other about love. We would declare our intent.
