A creative mountain wedding at Zorthian Ranch (with a handmade dress!)
Jon and Jenny are both creatives, and they wanted a hip but relaxed wedding with their closest family and friends. They chose the Zorthian Ranch, which is known for it’s offbeat artist community built by a local Altadena artist.
They had a ton of DIY elements to their creative mountain wedding. Jenny made both her dress AND Jon’s suit. She also made their wedding pie! Do not miss the hot pink and black floral dress, the chic and simple details, and the gorgeous pie display…
Goth gone LUXE with sparkle, faux fur, and rich reds at this goth wedding inspiration
This goth inspiration shoot was all about chic black on black with hints of red and sparkle. Think skull rings, studded heels, ultra lush and dark paperie, aged paper and faux fur, and even a SNAKE! Now this is how you do goth-meets-luxe.
Just wait until you see the handmade guestbook journal in Edgar Allan Poe style by Nik the Booksmith. OH: and the black cake! It’s sheer black magic.
Don’t miss the black gown and ski lift ride at this crisp winter elopement
Brynn and Stephen traveled from Houston, TX to Winter Park, CO to elope on a mountaintop. It was about 15 degrees on the top of the mountain and windy! But it was clear that they were feeling no pain in the frigid temps based on their laughs. They had an intimate ceremony overlooking the mountains after a ride up on the ski lift. After they made it official, they ran inside to warm up and cut some cake. Just wait until you see Brynn’s amazing black gown and Stephen’s cowboy details…
Led Zeppelin, craft beer, and tattoos at this bad-ass rock show-themed wedding
We had a rock show-themed wedding, which was inspired by our engagement shoot (by the fantastic Wild About You Photography) at a San Francisco music venue. Rye and I have a mutual passion for rock music, tattoos, and the macabre, so that theme covered lots of what we love!
We asked our guests to "channel their inner punk rocker" and wear clothing that reflected whatever "rock and roll" meant to them. There were lots of leather jackets, band shirts, combat boots, and colored hair.
