Stephanie & Kyle’s bookish blue wedding
This pair may have originally wanted a small wedding, but their family-focused book-loving wedding ended up being just right. We are loving the pink dress, gorgeous ombre chuppah (that took nine months to make!), and super special mom/daughter walk down the aisle. Bit it might have been the rendition of a Muppet song from the bride and her sister that really did us in.
Isabel & Samuel’s treasure boxes and bikes on the beach wedding
A Nicaraguan groom, a Cuban-Bolivian bride from the U.S., and a glorious beach ceremony in Nicaragua — this is some multicultural fabulousness. But the best part is how much we learned from the bride and her search for unique local vendors for her destination wedding. Plus, get your hankies ready for the bride’s story of her mother and the treasure boxes.
Janet & Phil’s intimate tandem bike-themed wedding
Get ready for tandem bicycles, colored crinoline (with matching veil!), and the prettiest little backyard wedding we’ve seen in a while. It may be small, but it packs a punch in emotion. Don’t miss their custom Cards Against Humanity deck, handmade flower bouquet, and major board game setup. These two are introverts, but it didn’t stop them from sharing a lot of amazing non-spotlight time with those they love most. Learn from then, fellow introverts!
Courtney & Sam’s colorful hip-hop garden party
Instilling their love of color and music, this wedding-turned-garden party concert was even fun for passersby. Mixing traditions like jumping the broom and smashing the glass only added to the facets of awesome you’ll find. Turn on some Janelle Monae and rock out to this musical shindig.
