A groom from Hong Kong living in Brisbane and a Canadian dame living in Adelaide means an East-meet-West wedding on a few levels. Working with the color red, rockabilly style, a “Double Happiness” theme, and two continents, this double wedding (plus 40-day honeymoon!) was a world traveling wonder.

Karen & Jennifer’s queer Hindu and vintage fashion wedding

While these two ladies had only expected a tiny ceremony, their friends and neighbors hijacked the day with the local media and well-wishers, a giant balloon arch, and a champagne lunch. Their son added some major adorable points with his violin, and one of their witnesses had me in tears with her infectious sobbing. Guh. I’ve never seen so many huge, permanent smiles.

Pirate meets Michael Jackson at this Vegas wedding

Elizabeth and Erik managed to mix a pirate theme with Las Vegas and Michael Jackson, and came away with this amazing glammed-up shindig worthy of the themes. Held at Treasure Island, the biggest surprise at the reception was the Michael Jackson impersonator!
