Fairy swords, a woodsy tablescape, and a Snowy Mountain stroll
Tribesmaid Laurasonja and her groom got married in the Snowy Mountains, making for some truly epic, wintry photos like this one. There were also some snazzy “fairy swords,” bad-ass bridesmaids, and some woodsy decor in the reader submissions this week.
Kiona & Jennifer’s magickal barefoot solstice wedding in the desert
This pair has a strong connection to the desert, so a barefoot desert ceremony was a must. Add in lots of handmade, vegetarian, and eco-friendly touches, and you’ve got a truly gorgeous and personal wedding (that somehow totally avoided the scorching Arizona summer heat). And don’t miss the awesome, impromptu “rad bromance” dance duet!
Joyful jumping, kilted men, and the starriest night ever
Offbeat Vendor [vendor-heart link="http://vendors.offbeatwed.com/listing/lakshal-perera"]Lakshal Perera[/vendor-heart] caught this almost unreal photo at Warren and Shirley’s wedding of the night sky in Deniliquin, New South Wales, Australia. He said of the shot, “As a young child, all I dreamed about was being an astronaut. As an adult, all I dream about is being a wedding photographer. Yesterday, both things came together for one brief moment.” What a way to start the week.
Stephanie & Matthew’s music wine burgers and love wedding
Take tons of music, a musical seating chart, favorite band centerpieces, an amazing wine bar, and an awesome cake decorated with the family in their pajamas and you’ve got this blended family wedding. There’s also a really touching memorial to the bride’s mother who died on 9/11 — totally tear-worthy.
