BIPOC

Based on reader feedback that it was “hard to find any weddings of people of color,” we started tagging posts that featured a BIPOC bride and/or groom — and/or means you’ll find tons of interracial couples in here! But there was no shortage of style here. The bride described the gallery ceremony space as “an eclectic mix of old and new with a hint of creepy.” Sounds like a fab combo, and once you see it, you’ll agree. Oh, and wait until you hear how the bride handled a touchy tattoo subject with her conservative family.

It’s always a major treat when we see a wedding from across the globe (in this case, Malaysia!) and recognize our shared loves: colorful dresses, photo booth props, hanging photos, bow ties, cutie cake toppers, and faaaaabulous shoes! Izmira’s dress is like a pastel cupcake with a yellow bow, and Nizam completely matches in his yellow suspenders and bright blue pants.
