Love triumphs over stormy weather and a reception blackout
Leah and Heather were married on June 7th at Triumph Brewing Company in New Hope, PA, where the pair had one of their first dates and countless date nights after. Leah designed the place cards, table numbers, her bouquet, Heather’s boutonniere, and the CD favors. But the best silver lining moment came when the intense storm going on caused a blackout at the reception!
Anya & Dillon’s Grand Canyon bluegrass beer boat bash
Cowboy boots, an eleventh hour (and serendipitous) bluegrass band, dust-flying dancing, and sky-high views as far as the eye can see — this wedding takes the cake for partying down. Speaking of cake, do you remember the bad-ass Grand Canyon cake we featured? That was only the beginning. Oh, and don’t forget to yell “GORKA” when the time is right.
How to make your own bad-ass magnetic bottle cap wedding favors
I’d seen bottle cap magnets on craft sites before and was interested in playing with craft resin so I put the two together and voila: nifty home crafted wedding favors! Once you have your random (but of course self-representing) bits and bobs to cast in resin –anything that fits in a bottle cap works great — have fun making these personalized bottle cap magnets.
Stacey & Ben’s family farm home-grown wedding
This groom’s mad DIY skills are going to make your jaw drop. He built the gazebo they got married under — no big deal. The couple’s whole family got in on the DIY action, from growing the flowers to gathering the tablecloths, and wait till you see the bonfire they built, lit by the full harvest moon!
