Our delicious unity beer ceremony was… hopping (plus our ceremony wording!)
Craft beer has been such a huge part of our relationship that when we were planning our wedding (featured here!), we wanted to include it somehow. I suggested a unity beer ceremony, but we couldn’t find any wording online that we liked. We ended up creating our own from scratch, complete with our own unique brand of humor.

Our main goal for our wedding was to create a meaningful ceremony with a super fun reception. I love crafting, so I handmade all the flowers (personalizing each bridesmaid's bouquet to her interests), boutonnieres, and signs, and DIYed my veil!

You may pray the rain away, but don’t let the amazing photos of a foggy wedding slip from your grasp, especially if it’s on a mountain. This chic pair had the romantic setting of their dreams on Big Bald Mountain. Add in the whimsically-named handmade craft beer (hell, the groom’s a cicerone!), the bride’s amazing dress with dusty pink lining, and let’s face it, the fashion in general, and you’ll be swept away by this North Carolina wedding.

With a tasty strawberry shortcake beer ceremony, a wine unity box, and a grand mountain backdrop, the ceremony is enough to have us drooling. But add in the locally-themed after party at a bar with bocce courts and delish pies, and we’re full-on sold. You’ll really love how the bride chose her purple polka-dotted dress. Hint: it may have been on her phone!
