We are loving this edgy coastal engagement shoot with lots of ink
Tanna and Michael’s edgy coastal engagement shoot was at sunrise(!) at Catherine Hill Bay, north of Sydney, Australia. An abandoned rusting pier and graffiti art was the first backdrop to capture the essence of these two inked up hotties.
And then it became pure, moody romance with the sun peeking out between clouds along the rocky shore.
An intimate, ultraviolet Austrian wedding with bits of Scotland
Karin and Helge love Scotland and have spent several vacations there. So they decided to instill some of what they love into their ultraviolet dress and kilt, velvet shoes covered in embroidery (illustrating their last name!), and a horse-drawn carriage to transport all their guests. My favorite part? The bouquet was split into three parts and given to the three witnesses of the ceremony.
The groom rocked the DIYed art details at this historic schoolhouse wedding
Travis and Gerianna met through their mutual love of Disneyland which you know means that their aesthetic will be on point. They enjoy dancing, going to Dapper Day, and are artsy as hell. Plus, the clincher: Travis planned EVERYTHING! He’s a graphic designer so he created their invitations, the newspaper with the day’s details, stained the crates, painted mini recreations of works of art for each table, hand-lettered all the signs. It was a creative undertaking!
Rainbow dresses and wedding pups at this “literature in miniature” wedding
We both love literature, miniatures, dogs, and film, so most of the wedding had some aspect of those themes included. We made a bookcase arch which was basically the only ceremony decor in addition to what was already in the beautiful venue. I made all the bridesmaids dresses in different jewel tones. I love retro style clothing and color and I couldn't find what I was looking for in the stores, so I made them myself!
THIS is what happens when you get married at a Fairyland amusement park
Peggy and Bill’s playful wedding took place at Children’s Fairyland in Oakland, California and seriously captured the fairy tale spirit of the venue. The fairy tale theme carried over through all of their details, with nods to Alice in Wonderland, keys to unlock the story though the park, and spell books on the tables with moss and fairy lights. I can totally see how they would all feel transported to a magical place. Let’s get to the magical fairyland wedding…
With golden dinos and The Simpsons, these two major cuties get wedded
Simpsons cufflinks (from the episode with Lisa’s wedding!), DIYed golden dinosaurs, “love” balloons, and a first look ass grab: it’s the adorable wedding of our dreams! When it came to why Emily and Bill had golden dinos, their answer was “Dinosaurs are the best, so just calm down.” And it’s true, Dinosaurs ARE the best. Bonus points when they’re glitzy.
Let’s see the rest of this cute AF wedding in Ontario…
