An intimate bucket list wedding planned in two weeks after a cancer diagnosis
My husband died seven months after our wedding. The most important lesson I learned from our wedding is that when it really comes down to it, your marriage is more important than your wedding.
What I want to share with other Offbeat Bride readers is that if you are lucky enough to have found someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with, the rest of details don’t really matter.
A chill & magical Hawaiian wedding with rainbows, surfboards, and leis
Elena and Andrei’s wedding was planned in only a of couple weeks. They were traveling to Maui with four of their best friends and going to become parents in a few months, so they figured why not get hitched while on vacation? And this magical Hawaiian wedding was created. The officiant serenaded them accompanied by a ukulele, Elena carried a bouquet of tropical blooms, and their ceremony spot was marked by flowers creating a heart shape in the sand.
Sasha and Masya’s 2018 wedding
Sasha and Masya said that when they met, it was love at first sight and it seemed like it had come straight out of ancient Greek mythology. So it made perfect sense to channel the gods in an ancient Greek ceremony pulling from modern Greek traditions. In terms of style, this is where the pair shined. Think transparent lace in Greek goddess style, a blue mohawk, lots of amazing ink, bare feet, bejeweled anklets, and a pleated white Greek-inspired skirt and white sandals on the groom.
Pink skies and a pink dress at this glowing beach wedding in Maui
Victoria and Jesse couldn’t have planned their colorful details with the colorful skies of Maui any better. Pink skies, a fabulous pink dress, and the glow of the sunset made me swoon.
After the sun set, the gorgeous glass bulbs subtly lit everything so beautifully. This is truly one of those weddings that looks too pretty to be real. But it is! And we get to see it…
