Get swept away by this beachside wedding in Bequia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines
Cariona and Omorow first met when Cariona went down to Canouan (a small island in the Caribbean) for work. When planning their wedding, the couple knew that they wanted to get married down in the Caribbean where it all began. They decided on Bequia, a small island off of the main island, Saint Vincent. The couple was married on the oldest church on the island, St. Mary’s Anglican Church. Afterwards, everyone danced until the party was crashed (literally) at the end of the night, ending in a giant celebration and a spontaneous jump into the pool.
Two brides, air plants, and Dr. Seuss at this modern boho wedding on Lake Michigan
Marta and Christine celebrated their wedding with an intimate gathering of friends and family at Camp Blodgett on Lake Michigan. The day was characterized by opposites coming together: boho meets Ikea, with fun color details and a simple, modern look. The ceremony revolved around Dr. Seuss’s “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” and was written by Marta and Christine. Instead of a first dance, they led their their guests in a sing-along.

Turtles! Brunch! Dogs in ties! This rainbow lesbian wedding is all about furever love
Since Caitlin proposed to Kris with the tortoises at the Southwick Zoo, we included the turtles in all our little details including a custom logo designed by Caitlin/paper straws with turtle cutouts (save the sea turtles!), handknit turtle coffee sleeve favors which doubled as a seating chart by Caitlin’s grandmother Marcia, and even more turtle decorations.
Since it was a lesbian wedding, we of course had to include rainbows!
