Wedding photos get “all out weird” with this San Francisco wedding photographer
So… who else is now adding “giant squirrel photobomb” to your wedding photography shot list? Because I just did, thanks to our sponsor, San Francisco wedding photographer Ian Chin.
If you think he can make “giant squirrel” work on your wedding day, wait until you see his upside down shots, and his “how did he even capture that” wedding dance photo…
This stunning boho Half Moon Bay wedding gives us all the feels
Angelica and Brian’s Half Moon Bay wedding had a stunning coastal casual chic wedding with musical influences. The reception was (one of my favorites!) a Sunday brunch wedding featuring chicken and waffles, crab cakes, and spinach florentine benedicts. Don’t miss the embroidery hoops centerpieces, tambourine bouquets, bud vases, flower stands, and even coffee beans as decor. Oh, and the GORGEOUS ceremony backdrop! Instead of champagne toasting flutes, they got personalized beer steins and drank Not For Sale Calf-eine Coffee Milk Stout, a nonprofit that works against human trafficking worldwide. Let’s see the whole delicious and gorgeous event…
A rainbow fairy dress that fulfills all your childhood dress-up dreams
After rejecting the idea of a big wedding, Jordan and Philip decided to elope to one of their favorite places, The Albany Bulb. The area is a great mix of urban and nature: ocean, city landscape, fields, trees, bird sanctuary, dog run, and innovative art. But it’s really hard not to focus on the pair’s crazy awesome fashion! With Philip’s dapper suit and glasses and Jordan’s rainbow fairy dress, these two sparkle brighter than their sunny wedding day.
This bride was carried to the altar in a coffin!
How do you walk down the aisle when your theme is “Till Death do Us Part” and you’re getting married in an Northern California cemetery? If you’re Kristen, you surprise the hell out of your groom by entering in a coffin carried by the groomsmen.
Yeah, yeah: I know LAST week was our week for spooky weddings, but trust: you’re going to want to see Kristen and Joe’s sweetly macabre video. It’s way more heartwarming than the title of this post suggests.
Acrobats, martial artists, skateboarders, and cosplay nerds: Wild About You wants to photograph YOU!
I love a photography team with a love story like our sponsor Wild About You Photography. Lily and Chris found each other through their mutual passion for punk rock and photography. Chris even moved 2000 miles to San Francisco so that they could go to shows, travel the world, and make beautiful photos and videos together. They came to Offbeat Bride to not only offer y’all a special discount but to also aid in their search for some very specific offbeat weddings that’ll get some lucky couples a bonus special offer.
Janna & Nick’s Motorcycle-themed, whimsical wedding celebration
After seeing Janna’s motorcycle sprocket bouquet (and, for some of us, learning what a sprocket is), we knew that we had to know all about this wedding and the creative, motorcylcle-loving (and, as it turns out, ex-wrestler and theater geek) couple behind it. Some of us (me) also have totally developed friend/mentor crushes on the bride. -Becca
