An ultra sweet circus-style Aussie festival wedding

When Kate from Urban Safari Photography told us about this wedding at the Spiegeltent at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, located in the Garden of Unearthly Delights in Adelaide, South Australia, it looked like something special. Lana and James were wed among the venue’s own spectacular decor and afterwards had access to their own private ferris wheel. Laura & Stephen’s retro jazz wedding

We love our retro weddings, and this jazz and vintage-inspired wedding kicks ass. Some of the details included a tattooed and victory-rolled bride (with two dresses!), a groom with an epic ‘stache, and super fun details (like the lollipop bouquets). Though there was a snafu with the first band, the final band rocked the crowd with jazz and swing.

Anne-Louise & Jon’s casually elegant party with bubbles and a tango

They may not be professional tango dancers or always remember to plug in the bubble machine, but these two know how to throw a party in the spirit of their house-warming parties of the past. After ten years together, they really didn’t know how much two years of planning would strengthen their relationship, but we’re very glad it did.

Kristina & Ki Yin’s Double Happiness East-meets-West wedding

A groom from Hong Kong living in Brisbane and a Canadian dame living in Adelaide means an East-meet-West wedding on a few levels. Working with the color red, rockabilly style, a “Double Happiness” theme, and two continents, this double wedding (plus 40-day honeymoon!) was a world traveling wonder.
