A vegan humanist UK rock and roll wedding (with Elvis and Riot Squad!)
Jess and Stokie Pete had that awesome combination of sublime forest backdrop and raucous rock and roll wedding. They performed Pagan rituals, a handfasting, and broom jumping at the gorgeous Mapperley Farm in Derbyshire followed by a vegan meal and a ton of dancing. That is, until Elvis Presley and Riot Squad arrived to rock everyone out.
A DIY viking wedding with a sword exchange
Angel and Shanti pulled from pagan, Christian, and viking traditions to create their amazing outdoor ceremony. Everything from the groomsmen sashes to the floral arrangements was DIYed. In a super badass move, the couple exchanged swords instead of rings.
Don’t miss the natural wheat and log decor, the baby’s breath-covered cake, and the cute and rustic lawn games…
A 13-color handfasting and fire dancing at this Quebec wiccan wedding
This Quebec wiccan wedding had a lovely handfasting that involved 13 of their friends, pagan and wiccan rituals, fire dancers, musicians, and so many of the couples’ friends contributing their wares and talents. It turned out to be a community-led wedding with fantasy, goth and viking details, and personal spirituality. You’ll want to take a look, especially at the bride’s amazing dress!
