Morgan & Ryan’s woodland mythical handfasting wedding
You’ve seen this wedding teased here before, and since then, I’ve been dying to see more of this mythical, fantasy, gnome and fairy-filled Pagan wedding. Read on for all the forest-y details and amazing photos.
Laura & Daniel’s Pagan archery and knitting wedding
These nature-loving Pagans were handfasted years ago, but they knew it was time to get it recognized. With archery influences and an amazing knitted bouquet, buttonholes, and even the cake topper, this wedding is a sight to see. Side note: hiring a photographer might have been the best move they made based on these gorgeous park shots.
Rainbows and sparkly fairies at a newly-legal lesbian wedding in New York
These lovely lasses celebrated the ability to have a legal wedding in New York with sparkles, fairy wings, and all things rainbow (in honor of the pride flag, of course!). You will die a thousand deaths after seeing the many-colored dresses, rainbow layer cake with My Little Ponies on top, and rainbow self-catered food that the Mrs. + Mrs. put together.
Abby & Robb’s big family handfasting Halloween wedding
It takes a village to make a budget wedding and this couple had good friends to help. Handfasting, broom jumping, a last-minute Home Depot tie, and a little Doctor Who geekery make for a damn good time. Don’t forget to check out the bridesmaid’s different bouquets too! Just another awesome notch on the Halloween week checklist.
Sheila & Jason’s Medieval handfasting under the trees wedding
Being outdoorsy, pagan beliefs, love of all things Medieval… you know what this means. A Medieval handfasting with lots of mead, lots of maypole dancing, and major costume cred. Plus, a white horse somehow made its way to the wedding! It’s like magic.
Katrina & Brandon’s princess and pirate Renaissance wedding
How could your parents say no to being the King and Queen at your wedding? Plus: there are pirates and elephants. Ren Fair weddings for the win!
