Shannon & Fran’s 1920s era vegan-friendly potluck wedding
A 1920s-inspired wedding… but not in Gatsby style? Hell yes. This couple embraces their more humble beginnings with an intimate and laid-back celebration like their grandparents might have had. This included some vegan-friendly pot luck, old timey penny candy, vintage-style dresses and pocket watches, and super chic lavender and wheat bouquets.
A 1920s-inspired peacocks and zombies wedding
Skye and Cody celebrated their wedding in New Orleans with a 1920s-inspired feel and lots of peacock details. There were lots of lovely decor choices including cool branches, peacock bouquets, and hanging lights. Some zombie details (including the groom’s cake and the bride’s SHOES!), tearful speeches, and a bubbly exit rounded out an awesome soiree.
Amber & Dylan’s Roaring ’20s prison wedding
A shared passion for the 1920s, ample props and costumes, and a historic (and haunted!) prison setting well worthy of the task — looks like a roaring wedding for any flapper at heart. The best part is that this couple’s guests totally got into the the theme! It’s the best thing any theme wedding can have: commitment to the bit!

Kaci & Roy’s vintage Victorian junkyard wedding bash
Kaci & Roy got hitched at The Cathedral of Junk — her in a 1920s gown and him in a Victorian top hat and tails (and pants and stuff 🙂 ). Their ceremony featured a Unity Volcano ceremony(!) and a reading from Shel Silverstein. After their outdoor ceremony, they headed to an old Austin music venue for beer, BBQ, and southern fried foods.
