A spiral aisle wedding where the bride had her mother’s ashes in her bouquet
Remember the spiral aisle that we featured? Here they are, along with tons of paper flowers (that look super real), a Banksy guest book, a secret handshake at the end of the ceremony, and of course, their completely awesome way to fix the problem of a lopsided guest list. Oh, and wait until you see the reception skits that included cardboard box masks with giant eyelashes!
Little shoes with big bows
I’m not an especially frilly lady when it comes to my footwear, but I am loving all the wedding shoes I’m seeing these days with sassy bows on them… in some cases, BIG bows. Like, bows that are bigger than the shoe, practically. It’s an awesome twist on a dainty little detail. For the purposes of this post, I went for a range of bow sizes, ranging from modest to OMG MY EYES. The styles range from towering “ouch my feet” heels, down to cheetah-print oxfords. I’ve got ankle bows, toe bows, and side bows. BOWS!
The Wardrobe Shop has the vintage-styled dress of your Downton Abbey dreams
If I know you guys at all, I know that you’re crazy about all things vintage. I know that you especially love vintage-style fashions. And if you combine all that with a (totally healthy!) love of Downton Abbey, I know that you are going to flip over our newest sponsor The Wardrobe Shop.
Patty & Will’s spooktacularly elegant wedding
This couple embraced their wedding date (October 13th) with bad-luck-turned-good details, gothic and spooky elements, and an homage to their black cat. It was small in size and large on gorgeous details and personal touches. They may not have been able to get a vintage hearse to cart them around town, but the red and black ’59 Chevy was an even better solution!
