Susan & Matt’s handmade and rustic comedy wedding
What’s a sweet little rustic outdoor wedding without a few references to cults and boobs? There may have also been some awesome tributes during the ceremony and fantabulous DIY projects, too. Oh, and this is also what happens when lots of stand-up comedians end up giving a lineup of toasts!
Shyn & D’Angelo’s laid-back recycled wedding
Reusing, recycling, and a little dumpster diving totally made this wedding into a low-maintenance cleanup wonder with awesome DIY projects like a wine cork guest book, self-catered picnic noms, and jam jar lanterns. A custom-made dress and Prohibition Era attire made it super stylish on top of that! Add in the lush green ceremony space, and you’ll be googly-eyed for this couple.
Wedding clutches to flatter your wedding day white knuckles
OMG you guys, DEVIATION! For the first time since 2011, I’m doing a Friday post not about shoes… but about CLUTCHES. Some friends gave me an adorable little mini-purse clutch thing as a wedding day gift, but since I had an outdoor freakfest run around in ribbon falls dancing in the groves kind of wedding, I didn’t really use it. This missed opportunity gives me a perfect excuse to ogle the clutches that might have been… had I clutched a clutch, and clutched.
As always, these prices range from “Oh cute, buy one for each of your bridesmaids” to “What, that’s my entire wedding budget, ha ha, but wow that thing is amazing.” Also, you do get a very romantic and cute bonus shoe.
You’ll love this romantic pink wedding served up with a bit of skull cake
Tera and Ryan recently wed near downtown San Diego, California, and had pink details everywhere — the flowers, the bride’s glittery shoes, even the seating chart and wedding favors were all rose-hued! These two found a way to include a dash of the unexpected throughout the day, like using a neon pink megaphone to hold programs and decorating a guitar case with written ceremony instructions for their guests. And just WAIT until you see the skull-and-earthworm covered groom’s cake…
