Meg and Carrie hosted a casual carnival-themed wedding in Meg’s parent’s backyard in New Hampshire, proving that backyard weddings can be kick-ass for budget and scenery. (Seriously, the greenery is making me long for warmer weather!) Plus, they put a really fun spin on a ring warming ceremony by making it “interactive.” Read on to see how they did it.

We are going to talk about some freaking SANDALS today, because I know some of you are planning destination weddings, beach weddings, and other outdoor weddings that will be happening in hot places. I ran the gamut on this one, from more formal-feeling wedges and low pumps to totally casual flats and t-straps. And of course at least one pair of rainbow flip-flops because, well, you know how I am.
