Nicole and Santiago chartered the USS Potomac (Roosevelt's former White House boat) for their lovely San Francisco Bay wedding. One reason they opted for a boat wedding was that Nicole's mother passed away that year and they scattered her ashes near Angel Island. For the ceremony, the captain sailed the boat close to where her ashes were scattered so that her memory could be included. Cue all our tears!
After the ceremony on the top deck of the boat, the Potomac cruised around San Francisco Bay while guests dined on cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. A live brass band kept everyone dancing, even while rain poured down. Thankfully rain = rainbows! A rainbow appeared in the sky near the Bay Bridge. Thanks, nature!
