Jenn & Doug’s silly, song-filled, colorful trivia-fest
A bit of trivia for you: This couple’s matching reds and rings will make you swoon. You’ll love how this couple got all their guests involved in their wedding, from crafty table games to speeches and songs.
Wedding trend overthinking: Everyone else is doing it!
I started searching online and found all these great ideas: mercury glass candle holders, stacks of books for centerpieces, stationary with those cool old brackets on it, lanterns, library card escort cards — and ran with it. I was so happy that we were doing things that felt like us and not just the same old cookie-cutter wedding stuff that we had seen throughout our twenties. It felt amazing. Until we realized that everyone else was doing it, too.
A book sighting and a whole lot of lovey-dovey makeouts
It’s been a while since we’ve seen an Offbeat Bride the Book shot! And these two are awesomely retro, which doubles the fun. I would like to snag both of those pairs of sunglasses. But this week is going to take a slightly different turn. The Flickr Pool, Pinterest, and the Offbeat Bride Tribe was full of romance shots and K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
Michelle & Sharky’s top-secret shark-infested wedding
The groom’s nickname is Sharky, so you might know what theme this wedding had. You guessed it: tons of hidden sharks! Plus, the theme was a secret from everyone except a select few. They also used a little photo magic to add some personality to their centerpieces. But my favorite part is the photos of the couple — talk about personality. Definitely check the slideshow on this one.
