A scenic lakeside nautical wedding
Brittany and Judy, both looking as if they walked out of a magazine (including a super fab pantsuit that reminds me of this one), had their wedding at the equally drool-inducing Horseshoe Bay Resort in Austin, Texas. Guests love a photo booth, this we know. So when we saw Ingrid’s face cut-outs of family and friends who couldn’t make the wedding, we knew it was a great combination photo booth fun and really funny photos heading to Facebook for those friends to see.
Betsy & Josh’s retro and rock theater wedding
A little Slayer, some Stray Cats, vintage-style fashion, and a 1942 Oldsmobile made this wedding a rock-lover’s wet dream. But it wasn’t all hard-edge and kicking ass. The couple’s daughter made for some sweet photos and the dancing shots are grin-inducing. It’s a mix of hard rock and lace in this vintage-inspired wedding in an art deco theater.
A fashionable and musical elopement under a giant oak tree
Oh, to be a sandwich with these people. They are totally gorgeous and had an equally gorgeous elopement under a huge-mongous oak tree in New Orleans. Krysten chose the destination and planned the trip since she loves NOLA, and Chris wrote the ceremony himself. They wanted, in their own words, “simplicity and fiscal solvency,” so eloping just made perfect sense. To get the ceremony under that majestic tree, a little smooth talking was in order with a gruff groundskeeper!
