1. OMG! Where were these lovelies 6 months ago?! I hunted high and low for purple shoes! *sniffle* ~ I never did find any for my wedding, so I went bare foot!

8. In the local dialect of my birthplace (Orkney Islands, Scotland), Salvatore Ferragamo’s lovely Bruck shoes translate into “rubbish” or “garbage”. A local phrase is “dinna chuck bruck” aka “don’t throw garbage”. Sorry, I know it’s off-topic as they are lovely shoes but it has made me giggle 🙂

14. I literally just bought the last pair of the mary jane kitten heels in red. I’ve been eyeing them for two months and there was a run on them, coincidentally enough, right after this post went live… I had to throw my indecision to the wind, because apparently their popularity just blew up. I was half-tempted to ask the zappos lady how the other shoes on this list were doing, after the blitz of Ariel’s recommendation!

15. So apparently there is a void in my life which can only be filled by the perfect purple pumps. Who knew? Ariel, apparently.

I want purple shoes for my wedding but since my main focus is skulls I decided to make shoes how I want and the way I want myself, instead of getting platform shoes that I probably couldnt even stand in…they are still a work in progress and so far I am loving them but at least it’s comforting to know that if I totally mess up I have options to buy if so I will get the irregular choice purple shoes!

21. LOVE LOVE LOVE Acrylicana! I’ve worn the shit out of my first pair and I still can’t say goodbye to them! They have been dubbed my “Happy Shoes” by my fiance and they make us both smile every time I put them on! Worth every penny!

23. I couldn’t find affordable purple shoes anywhere for my wedding. I ended up buying a cheap pair of white wedges from payless and then sewed on a funky purple ribbon I found at a craft store. They turned out awesomecool!

24. 🙁 I’ve been searching for purple flats, but those aren’t available anymore. I’ve bought a pair, but they just don’t feel right any more. Why must it be so difficult to find shoes that are purple, flat, wide, size 11, and NOT LAME or redic expensive?!
