Jessie and Michael had an beachfront ceremony overlooking the Pacific and Three Arch Rocks in Oceanside, Oregon on an overcast afternoon in July. Using a small community center with an adjacent lawn and patio for the reception, the pair wanted an intimate, low-key wedding and totally succeeded.
They passed around their wedding bands for a ring warming ceremony, sending good vibes for the marriage. Michael’s mother read a poem by E.E. Cummings during the ceremony, while Jessie’s mother did all the floral arrangements. The best part of the ceremony, though, was the planting of the Hemlock tree. The maid of honor shared the significance of the tree (did you know that the Hemlock carries both male and female cones?), and the pair added soil from their respective hometowns. D'aww.
Oh, and do not miss Jessie's amazing multicolored braid!
