Justine and Shannon traveled all the way from Florida for their national park wedding at Acadia National Park in Maine. This wedding was to be the first of four celebrations, if you can believe it. Since their family and friends were scattered all over the country, they decided to have cross-country wedding celebrations instead of just one traditional wedding. These celebrations were held in four different states, and Maine started it all off.
October can be chilly, especially on the water (and especially if you’re from Florida). They added sweaters to their wedding dresses and opted for boots. Their ceremony was held in a clearing surrounded by white birches and tall marsh grass. Justine’s brother officiated the ceremony.
After the ceremony, everyone gathered at Havana, a cuban restaurant in Bar Harbor. For favors, each guest was given a cute little honey jar with “meant to bee” written on it. Want to see?
