Emma and Trevor temporarily took over the Murray Morgan Bridge in Tacoma, WA for their wedding ceremony! In the most romantic twist ever, the pair were engaged on that very spot they chose for their ceremony. This is a wedding ON A BRIDGE! Swoon city, folks.
They followed the bridge ceremony with a killer reception at the Tacoma Art Museum with a band, loads of getting down, and a sweet first dance. This is one to see…

Where in Tacoma is this bridge???? I know you guys at OBB are in Seattle…do you know? I grew up there too, but I don’t remember this bridge… :-/
It’s downtown, 11th st goes over it to the Port.
Okay, so not only am I all teary eyed because of lovely folks being in love, but the literary nerd in me is also crying because a bridge is a liminal space. It’s a space in between — like how “engaged” is the space between “single” and “married,” for instance. These two literally AND figuratively moved through liminal space during theiron ceremony and if I wasn’t so rhejfjenekfnwjf inside about it I would probably be more articulate but cjebekcjwjfirne!!! ?
Ahhh, ok 🙂
