Leila and Calvin blended together traditions from their Filipino, African-American, Muslim, and Irish heritages and made it all MAD GOOD. During their ceremony, they had drummers perform and their officiant also included an African tradition of afoshe: eating and drinking different foods and beverages that represented symbols about a marriage. Then they jumped a broom before walking back down the aisle.
They incorporated the Irish heritage with Celtic love knots on the napkin holders, and had a special African print for all the napkins. The groom and the groomsmen also all wore bow ties made out of an African print. Leila's mother baked the cake and decorated with their colors and bobble heads that looked like them(!). And since Calvin loves comic books, their program, seating charts, and invitations were awesome manga-inspired original drawings of them.

What a good looking couple! Looks like a whole bunch of fun!
Congrats!
I have to admit, I really love the idea of multiple cultures colliding at one wedding.
