This customer RAVED about this suit, saying “Suit fits perfectly!!!! I was looking for suits for studs and found this one… Great quality & great communication will definitely be shopping with you guys again THANK YOU!!!”
Turns out that traditional wedding dress shop David's Bridal has finally noticed that folks want masculine suits for women! This fitted lewk is hot… or maybe you want it in white?
I mean yes ok the setting is gorgeous, but we also love both these gorgeous humans in their coordinated (but not matchy-matchy!) blue suits. Both suits are from SuitShop. Their tuxedo and suit collection has inclusive sizing, ranging from size 00 to 20. Their jackets and pants are sold separately for a perfect fit.
The androgynous suit shown above is SUPER affordable…The customer with the blue hair gave it 4 stars, explaining:
I got this suit for ‘Umbrella Academy' cosplay, but it’s definitely nice enough that I am likely to wear it for “formal” and professional events later too! The material feels substantial and not flimsy, while being very soft and comfortable.
My only complaints are:
(a) the shoulder pads in the jacket – I removed them immediately (by taking out a couple of stitches in the inner lining and carefully pulling the foam out); the jacket is plenty structured on its own and hangs much more nicely without them, and
(b) the pants are way too loose for me in the waist, even at size XS; I am going to have to alter them a bit so they stay up for more than 5 minutes at a time. Typically I have better luck with Asian sizing; this suit is definitely more like an “American” XS, so if you are very petite I would *not* recommend sizing up.
All that said, though; 4 stars overall because the suit looks VERY sharp, is comfortable, and the minor issues I have with it are amenable to simple DIY fixes.
