Mallory and William have made it a tradition to visit The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C., each Christmas, enjoying the decorations and ambiance a few hours away from their home of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Last year, they went to the Christmas tree in front of the mansion, and William proposed…
“The next thing I know, he was on his knee asking me to marry him,” Mallory told us. “I cried. This man who I am so in love with and who has been my best friend for the past two and a half years was asking me to marry him. I threw my arms around this wonderful man and kissed him. This is what a full heart feels like.”
As an event planner herself, Mallory decided she wanted a wedding in Chattanooga that not only reflected the Biltmore library — featuring bookshelves and books, and the library’s color scheme, burgundy and blue — but also the couple’s love of Batman. Mallory’s shoes featured comic book drawings, and a personalized bat signal was projected on the brick wall of their venue.
