Offbeat Wed got name-dropped in a recent piece about the rising number of kink weddings, and honestly? We’re glad folks are finally catching up. Here's an excerpt:
Ariel M. Stallings, publisher of Offbeat Wed, a website dedicated to alternative weddings, features kink and polyamorous weddings on her site and has seen an increase in folks having them in the last decade. “People want to have a wedding that authentically reflects who they are, ensuring that there are sometimes small or sometimes large references to their kink dynamics as part of their commitment ceremonies, whether that's a wedding or kind of a standalone non-legally-binding commitment ceremony,” she says.
For example, at collaring ceremonies, instead of exchanging rings, couples use a collar to embody the relationship. As Stallings sees it, “More people are willing to share [their kink dynamics], and even some want to model it so others feel safe talking about it.”

So, kink weddings are trending? Yeah, we noticed… like 15 years ago.
For those of us who’ve been featuring collaring ceremonies, dungeon receptions, and submissive-led vows for years… this isn’t exactly breaking news. But we do love any excuse to revisit our kinky little corner of the wedding world.
If you're new here (or just kink-curious) start with this:

We’ve been celebrating weddings that reflect the whole truth of a couple’s (or throuple's!) connection since 2007, including those with safe words and D/s contracts.
So yeah: Kink weddings are trending right now… but at Offbeat Wed they’ve ALWAYS been welcome.
