Vintage goblets and accessories on the bar cart, a red velvet couch with a gold backdrop, rich, dramatic florals, and a lush rug to create a luxe sitting area — this jewel-toned cocktail reception styled shoot with Jessica and David totally captures the essence of bright colors. David's suit was custom-made for him in Thailand, and the personalized invitation suite was hand-painted by the photographer, who is also an artist (holy talent, Batman!).
Let's ogle the rich colors and puppy cuddles and be inspired, my friends…

That picture under the umbrella! <3
Oh man, this shoot is like if a 20s silent film starlet met the embodiment of an awesome tropical demigod and then they adopted a dog. I LOVE IT. (Also, I fully cop to my ignorance in the significance of handsome gentleman’s attire. Anyone care to enlighten me?)
Looks like a dashiki to me (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dashiki) but if I’ve learned anything about the internet, it’s that I really have no idea. 😛
This is gorgeous but I’m sort of confused – is it a styled shoot or a real wedding? It’s tagged as both. Just wondering!
Good question! I recategorized the post as Wedding Porn since it is indeed not a real wedding. Sorry about that, and thanks for the catch!
I am sorry I am confused too, I saw the picture of their invite and it does say celebrate our marriage but is it not a wedding but photo shoot? Either way those pictures are awesome and beautiful colors.
What is this magic? I’m enamoured by the beautiful couple (congratulations !) The colours, the weather, the venue, the shooting style, everything. Wow wow wow
Please tell me where that moth barrette is from!!!! I have been looking for something similar for my bridesmaids/maid of honor!
