I am a HUGE Janelle Monae Fan! I bough some shoes like that for myself recently because i saw her music videos and listened to her music and made myself believe that if i got some shoes like that I’d dance like her and have cool hair. Though such things didn’t necessarily happen, i still look awesome

*SWOON* Oh Janelle Monae! I caught her interview with Terry Gross a year or so ago and have been hopelessly in lust ever since. Her music, style, dancing…. everything… is amazing.
I wanted to wear gold and white spectator-style heels for my wedding, but naturally they don’t exist anywhere, not to my specifications. So I painted them myself! Sadly my photographer didn’t get any pictures, but I’ll dig them out and take a picture to post.
