Selene Moon Goddess Ring Set – Moonstone with Blue and White Diamonds
Selene Moon Goddess Ring Set – Moonstone with Blue and White Diamonds – 14k Yellow Gold Pave Diamond Chevron
Selene was a Titan goddess in Greek mythology. She was the goddess of the moon, and is said to be the personification of the moon itself. She drives her moon chariot across the heavens every night.
Selene was linked to Artemis as well as Hecate; all three were considered lunar goddesses.
This ring has a gorgeous flashy rainbow moonstone set in between a pair of crescent moons. The moonstone weighs approximately 1 carat. The crescent moons and stars above and below the center stone are set with tiny irradiated light blue diamonds. There is a halo of natural VS white diamonds around the center stone and some additional diamonds on the band. The total diamond weight is approximately .50 carats.
Irriadiated diamonds are diamonds that have gone through a high pressure high heat treatment that makes them change colors, the color is unpredictable and through and through the diamonds it is not a surface treatment. I think that the blue ones are especially gorgeous.
The pave diamond chevron wedding band hugs the Selene ring perfectly, it is set with an additional approx. .18 carats of VS white diamonds.
The ring is shown here in 14k yellow gold, we do not plate any of our metals and they are all nickel free. This ring can also be made in 14k Palladium white gold or 14k rose gold.
When stacked the set is about 18mm's wide across the widest point at the top and each band is about 2mm's wide.
