We chose to use the Muonionalusta meteorite for this ring not only because it is a piece of space that you can wear as a ring but also because it is one of the few meteorites that exhibits the stunning Widmanstätten pattern. The Muonionalusta meteorite is believed to be the oldest known meteorite (about 4.5 billion years) and it struck earth almost a Million years ago during the Quaternary period
