Authentic Damascus Steel Ring Set – Tension Set with White Sapphire – His and Hers
This beautifully etched Damascus Steel men's wedding band is made from two different types of high-quality, stainless steel that are twisted and layered into unique and beautiful patterns. Forged in the deserts of the American Southwest, each ring is etched and polished into a hand-made work of art. We offer this ring in an 8-millimeter width, but we can custom design it with the width of your choosing. The ring is a comfort fit style (slightly convex on the inner band).
The lovely, sculpted Damascus steel tension set women's ring is truly a work of art, showcasing variegated layers of two different types of forged, layered stainless steel. This particular ring showcases a rich, dark patina, contrasted by more brilliant, organic striations of silver. The ring is 5 millimeters in width with a slightly convex, half-round curve on the outer band. A shimmering, round, diamond-cut 3 millimeter white sapphire hangs suspended between the two prongs of the ring.
Damascus steel is highly prized for its strength and beauty. Its unique, layered surface patterns are produced by labor-intensive forging of multiple layers of steel, followed by repeated heating and re-forging. Damascus steel was highly prized historically for its superior craftsmanship, and was often marketed, although not necessarily made, in Damascus, Syria.
