Who’s looking for sweet wedding day shoes? Behold, Miz Mooz
I’ve featured Miss Mooz shoes before, and I think it’s time for another peek into their colorful, comfort-minded footwear. Offbeat Brides have said: “I heart Miz Mooz something fierce –- they are always so comfy!” and “God I love this brand too much… All their shoes are so adorable!”
I’m in agreement. Let’s dive in!
20 pairs of red wedding shoes [UPDATED for 2022!]
Have you guys ever heard that class quote: Red shoes are worn only by small children, clowns, and prostitutes? Offbeat Brides obviously disagree with all these sentiments: did you know that we have seven pages of red shoe posts on Offbeat Bride? SEVEN PAGES, you guys.
Amazing shoes from Charlotte Olympia that most of us can’t afford (but all of us can enjoy!)
Generally when I do these shoe posts, I make a point to provide a range of pricing options, from $30 pleather flats that might start falling apart after one wear, all the way up to “Holy shit, those shoes cost more than my entire catering budget!” Last week, a reader wrote in to very specifically request a post about Charlotte Olympia’s line of shoes. I took one look at had three responses…
T-strap shoes that fit your wedding to a T {UPDATED for 2022!!}
Ugh, I’m sorry for the pun in the title. I can’t help myself sometimes! Let’s ignore my terrible puns and talk about t-strap shoes instead. This vintage-ish style is a nod to the shoes of the 1920s and 1930s, although these modern replicas definitely have a sass all their own. T-straps have the advantage of feeling a bit more stable on your foot than an open shoe — and if you’re looking for stability, I made a point to include some adorable t-strap flats in this round up, too.
Scalloped shoes for a wavy wonderful wedding day (including flats!)
This is perhaps a weirdly specific shoe post, even by my weirdly specific standards.
Today I want to talk about scalloping.
…Right? It’s a strangely tiny thing to focus on, but I’m noticing an increase in shoes with little rounded edges and detailing. Inspired by these shoes, I feel like this is a nice little break from all the chevron patterns that have been so prevalent the last couple years. Nice round little curves… let’s do this!
Winter wedding shoes: boots and other warmies [UPDATED for 2022!]
On last week’s shoe post, Meganwins asked for a post about winter wedding footwear. I linked to my most recent post about wedding boots, but that was six months ago. Maybe it’s time for a new booted walk down the aisle… and maybe instead of just thinking BOOTS, I’mma go for footwear that’s just generally better for winter weddings. A little warmer, a little more water resistant, a little less strappy. Winter brides, hold my gloved hand, and let’s do this…
