The most fun wedding ideas we saw this month
This month brought us some super goosebumps-giving moments like those Harry Potter socks, gorgeous gray hair, perfectly mismatched bridesmaids, wedding cartwheels, and even a treehouse venue. Here are some of the best photos we saw in the past month from the amazing vendors in our Offbeat Vendor Guide.
From acrobatic and monochromatic engagement shots to mohawks and a lush wedding video, here are a few of the stand-outs…
I tried Minted’s wedding monogram maker and I’m HOOKED
If you’re in the market for a wedding monogram for your invitations, your programs, your napkins, your dancefloor lighting(?!), it can be hard to make your own. It takes some graphic design skill that not all of us have. But I was poking around at Minted Weddings to see what new stuff they had going on and saw a free MONOGRAM MAKER.
I thought I’d do some playing around to see what I could create…
Goth gone LUXE with sparkle, faux fur, and rich reds at this goth wedding inspiration
This goth inspiration shoot was all about chic black on black with hints of red and sparkle. Think skull rings, studded heels, ultra lush and dark paperie, aged paper and faux fur, and even a SNAKE! Now this is how you do goth-meets-luxe.
Just wait until you see the handmade guestbook journal in Edgar Allan Poe style by Nik the Booksmith. OH: and the black cake! It’s sheer black magic.
We are loving this edgy coastal engagement shoot with lots of ink
Tanna and Michael’s edgy coastal engagement shoot was at sunrise(!) at Catherine Hill Bay, north of Sydney, Australia. An abandoned rusting pier and graffiti art was the first backdrop to capture the essence of these two inked up hotties.
And then it became pure, moody romance with the sun peeking out between clouds along the rocky shore.
