A magical frozen waterfall engagement shoot in the Poconos

A magical frozen waterfall engagement shoot in the Poconos

September and Tulia braved the cold and icy landscapes to have their engagement photos captured in a truly magical winter setting. they started their woolie-clad hike at an incredible frozen waterfall in the Poconos in Pennsylvania and ended in a forest for more adorable shots. Engagement photos don’t have to take place in the spring and summer. Winter engagement photos are some of our very favorites AND they got to rock adorable beanies. Bonus. Let’s peek at these two engaged cuties…

Marriage! At the Disco: a disco-inspired wedding shoot

Marriage! At the Disco: a disco-inspired wedding shoot

I’ve always loved classic disco music, despite the haters. It’s quintessential dance music and always finds a new audience in every generation (especially during today’s drag renaissance). So when we spied this disco-inspired wedding shoot, we were in glittery love.

Keep an eye out for the disco ball gown, the chic silk jumpsuit, black, four-tier glitter cake, all of the red details, the floral screen dripping with color and texture, the rainbow heels, the red vinyl sweetheart booth (with a shark!).

Mike & Eleven's Stranger Things wedding of our Eggo waffled, Upside Down imaginations

Mike & Eleven’s Stranger Things wedding of our Eggo, Upside Down imaginations

If you’re a fan of Netflix’s Stranger Things, you’ll know that season 3 starts tonight and should be lots of retro horror fun. The idea for this Stranger Things wedding inspiration came after photographer Julie Floro saw Mike and Eleven kiss at the Snow Ball and couldn’t stop imagining their fictional future marriage, complete with Eggo waffle bar, Upside Down-inspired florals (with red lilies reminiscent of the Demogorgon’s mouth!), and outfits inspired by the show including the Snow Ball.

We fell in love with this non-binary couple & their urban botanical-style romance

Lane and Ned are a non-binary couple deeply in love and celebrating their third anniversary on the day of this photo shoot. The Parkside Hotel in Downtown Victoria, BC was the perfect backdrop for lovey dovey looks, stellar fashion, and some greenery-filled decor that took our breath away. Plus, it’s just an honor to be able to feature this beautiful non-binary couple during the month of Pride.

Celebrating the anniversary of Ziggy Stardust with this glam rock David Bowie-inspired wedding inspiration

Celebrating the anniversary of Ziggy Stardust with this glam rock David Bowie-inspired wedding inspiration

David Bowie’s iconic concept album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars” was released 47(!) year ago on June 16, 1972, so it was more than fitting to showcase this amazing glam rock wedding inspiration right around the anniversary. The bride, groom, and their best crew were all in a band so they rocked their amazing outfits with metallics, velvet, fringe, tassels, faux fur, and tinsel.

Don’t miss the epic florals, star-shaped EVERYTHING, velvet suits, the bride’s jumpsuit, and the cake that any Bowie fan would love…

Minted save the dates | foil save the dates

We’re obsessing over fancy-pants metallic & foil invitations and save the dates

Minted now has new foil colors like ice blue, bronze, and black and are seriously spectacular for wedding invites and save the dates. I’m also fully obsessed with the glittery foils that come in gold and silver and give off major rainbow sparkly unicorn vibes. You’ll see I chose to show a few of those in the save the date section. SO PRETTY.
