Who needs flowers when tambourine bouquets are a thing?
Have we got a killer wedding coming up later this week for you, but I couldn’t wait to share this one particular detail with you. The bridesmaids had TAMBOURINE BOUQUETS! We love us some non-floral bouquet ideas, and this one is just so rad. Imagine walking down the aisle, gently shaking the tambourines and making such a lovely sound. Guh. Love. The best part? This was a DIY project by the bride and her crew. There’s a whole lot more DIY magic in store when we share the full wedding. Watch this space!
These wooden rings contain whole tiny worlds!
Looking for a seriously stunning and interesting ring to carry around a teeny tiny world on your finger? Canadian designer Isabell Kiefhaber of Secret Wood is creating wooden rings with resin, beeswax, and other materials to capture wearable little landscapes. They’re both of this world and totally out of this world. You’re going to want to see more of these rings.
Spy the rings below to see absolutely gorgeous scenes of tiny forests, Aurora Borealis-inspired skies, forests, waterfalls, and lagoons. they’re all slightly different since they’re all handmade to order (with a four to five week wait — likely worth it based on these designs!). Let’s ogle the designs and wish they were ours, shall we?
We’re scheming ideas from this Star Wars: The Force Awakens wedding fashion line (up to size 5X!)
Hot Topic has been partnering with lady fandom heroines Her Universe to give us pretty rad Doctor Who and Marvel dress and fashion lines, but their Star Wars: The Force Awakens line is kicking up all kinds of ideas for Star Wars weddings. With sizes from XS to 5X, I’m picturing a whole slew of BB-8, Stormtrooper, and Kylo Ren-inspired bridesmaids. All of the styles are kind of cosplay-lite that could easily blend into both daily life AND geeky wedding fashion. Let’s take a peek at the collection of The Force Awakens wedding fashion.
Let’s get dreamy with these watercolor wedding invitations
We loooove perusing wedding invitation vendors for new trends in invites. This time we found a vein of commonality in an art theme: watercolor wedding invitations! Dreamy, colorful, muted, and serene… but all with that distinctive watercolor feel that we heart so hard. If you’re an art buff, a watercolor lover, or just dig pretty shit like we do, this invitation round-up is going to be your jam.
