WALL-E, “love is love,” & moonstones: the best photos, rings, and goodies we saw this month
This month brought us some gorgeous moments: fall leaves to die for, moonstone rings, silly engagement photos, tossing plushies instead of bouquets, and even a new expansion pack for one of our favorite hilarious wedding games. From stunning portraits to flashy bling to lush decor, here are a few of the stand-outs…
Your wedding flowers can be pressed and transformed into jewelry
We already love IMPRESSED by nature for their gorgeous handmade jewelry using locally grown flowers and leaves. Funky instruments & muted flowers at this dark and eclectic inspiration shoot at an old Brooklyn theater
I love how this inspiration shoot combines the traditional with the ultra eclectic, which seems to really reflect what’s happening in offbeat weddings right now. We’re all about embracing traditions we feel resonate and tossing out what doesn’t. The best part of this shoot for me was the venue: a dusty old theater in Red Hook, Brooklyn, called the Jalopy Theater. Think tons of funky instruments, dark and shadowy corners, and a wedding vibes that totally matches.
