Little shoes with big bows
I’m not an especially frilly lady when it comes to my footwear, but I am loving all the wedding shoes I’m seeing these days with sassy bows on them… in some cases, BIG bows. Like, bows that are bigger than the shoe, practically. It’s an awesome twist on a dainty little detail. For the purposes of this post, I went for a range of bow sizes, ranging from modest to OMG MY EYES. The styles range from towering “ouch my feet” heels, down to cheetah-print oxfords. I’ve got ankle bows, toe bows, and side bows. BOWS!

And of course at least one pair of rainbow flip-flops because, well, you know how I am.
Wider-calf boots for wedding days (and everydays!)
Ariel is letting me pinch-hit in shoe posts this week since I’ve been knee-deep in boots… and other puns. I’ve been looking at tall boots for wider calves! If you’re looking for kicky wedding boots but your athletic or plus-size calves make it hard to find boots that fit well, I can relate.

Witness: chunky heels. You guys, as proof of this, I present to you this photo of me on my 21st birthday, rocking some amazing white plastic chunky heels…
