Kate & Lee’s pink and green retro eye-candy wedding
From the bride’s green dress (that print! I swoon), to the impeccable white suits of the wedding party, to the table settings to the fabulous conjugal vehicle, I am totally smitten. I want to travel through time and space to go to this wedding.
Our super DIY Pulgas Water Temple wedding!
We had our wedding ceremony at the Pulgas Water Temple, and then the reception was just a fun backyard bbq with all our closest family and friends there. We didn’t think that spending a ridiculous amount of money on a wedding would make us any more married than if we spent less.
Julie and Angelo’s underwater wedding
The most obvious thing that was offbeat about our wedding was that it was underwater. We met in a dive class, and after all of the diving we had done together, it seemed like the thing that expressed something very important to us both.
This musical theater couple’s wedding was as show called “Wedding: The Musical”
We wrote and produced Wedding! The Musical and had our friends star in it with us. Not only was there popcorn and commemorative posters sold pre-show along with a mime, during the “show” there was music, dancing, lip synching, a trapeze swing, skits to tell the story of our relationship, and eventually a ceremony complete with a ringleader, fire, and uh, missing rings. We also spent 3 months learning a choreographed swing dance and pretended to get in a huge fight in front of the 225 guests before sailing into said dance.
