I never wanted to get married. Marriage’s past is smattered with values we reject. But marriage also has a future, with opportunity for change. Is this an institution with of we want to be a part? What inspired two young, marriage-shy independents to happily enter into an engagement?

This amazing two-dude vintage wedding had a very fun photo booth alternative: a GIF photo booth! It’s pronounced GIF, not GIF, btw (oh terrible internet jokes…). Since we’re already in the thick of internetting, GIF-ing our guests just seems like the right choice for maximum funs. Plus, imagine how many of these GIFs will become profile photos? Like, all of them?
I’m both maid of honor AND best woman at my best friends’ wedding
My friends Beth and Eric (formerly Beth and Katrina!) are getting married, and I’m both the maid of honor AND the best woman. Yeah. Even for somebody completely qualified to fulfill these roles, this is a daunting task, and I am probably one of the least qualified people to be given such an honor. Balancing both of these roles is challenging no matter how much I care for both of them. Especially when they come into conflict. Here’s how I’m handling it…
