“I got you”: The revelation I found hidden in a wedding tango
When my partner suggested we do a full “so you think you can dance” stylized wedding tango as our first dance, I was thrilled. I’ve always loved the idea of learning how to tango. It’s a bold choice. It’s a feminist choice. The tango is the only ballroom dance where the man is not in charge. I was excited. But on the day of the wedding, I started to get anxious. I heard the shift in the music we had agreed would be our queue, and I hesitated. My introverted self just wanted to stay in my room and flee the audience. I pulled myself together and stepped out onto our living room floor…
Totally non-boring & unique masculine wedding bands for folks of all genders [Updated!]
We’ve shown you LOTS of men’s and masculine wedding bands before, but I’m bringing some new ideas to the table this time. I’m talking wood grains, rainbow-inlaid crystal, trillion-cut sapphires, animals sculpted into the metal, neon inner bands, brushed metal, the Bat Symbol, skulls, and DRAGON SCALE. It’s a whole new batch of weird, wild, and totally non-boring masculine wedding bands to fill your dapper heart (or your groom’s!) with pure, golden joy.
We’re planning two weddings: family-friendly AND kink-friendly
One of things my fiancé and I most cherish about our relationship is that we lead the kind of double-life worthy of one of the superhero comic books he loves so much. Normally, we are responsible, hard-working citizens who live and parent together in a small, quiet town. But after a quick change in a phone booth (aka, when my ex has the kids and we travel), we become adventurers well-versed in kink and non-monogamy who love to find weird bars, get tattoos, and go out dancing until the wee hours of the morning.
So it stands to reason that we have to plan not one but two weddings…
This guy trying on a wedding dress is ALL OF US
Offbeat couples wear all kinds of outfits on their wedding day, from dapper suits to hugh jass multicolored gowns straight from fashion week. And of course, a whole bunch of them wear a traditional white dress. And that’s amazing. You do you, boo. Even if you’re not planning on rocking a white cupcake froth-fest on your wedding day, it CAN be pretty fun to try one on just for the hell of it. This is exactly what YouTuber Zack Arad did. And he luuuuurved it.
Let’s take a peek at this guy having all his dreams come true in the form of a wedding dress…
