So you've decided DIY wedding shoes are the way to go for you? That's awesome! We have several great tutorials about how to DIY your wedding shoes, but sometimes you need a little inspiration for your efforts. Today I'm going to wrastle up commercially-produced designer shoes that I think the more crafty among you could get some great DIY wedding shoe ideas from.
Most of these tips are lovely, and not really ripping-off at all, but the complete duplication of the Betsey Johnson “Betsey Blue” line’s signature features (painting the soles blue, *and* attaching a heart charm) feels a little iffy to me – like the recent trend of women painting the soles of cheap shoes red, to mimic LaBoutins that they can’t afford.
Maybe a better option would be to either choose a blue paint and no heart charm, or a different colour of paint with a heart charm?
Good ideas for shoes!!! I’d prefer the pink ones with flowers for my own wedding!!
This is so cool. I think that we certainly try some of ththese is in our future clients on our wedding venue !! 🙂
