We're loving the sapeur look of Dandy Queen style, which showcases amazingly dapper women rocking chic suits and menswear with panache. It's cultural impact and rich roots make anyone who takes on the style an inspiration. For this particular wedding inspiration, Janelle Monáe was a huge influence since she has showcased the style impeccably.
An odd hurdle they needed to overcome when planning was the lack of online inspiration with only a small handful of black female Dandy Queen photos. They persevered and ran with it, though, and embraced the spirit of the style with rich and earthy jewel tones. The bride wore a white jumpsuit and minimalist gold accent jewelry.
