Sara and David live in New York City, but chose to get married at the Concord Country Club where David's mom got married a few years earlier. They had loved it and trusted them to handle an amazing wedding. They really wanted a small celebration surrounded by nature.
Sara, a genderqueer bride, made that stylish leather jacket, and chose to play with other wedding traditions by wearing gold glitter Doc Martens for that something new, and Van Gogh's Starry Night socks for the something blue.
Sara's Dress came from a secondhand non-profit store in NYC which takes donations of designer dresses and sells them all at $700. They also had their wedding live-streamed so that David's family in Venezuela could see, since most of them were unable to make it.

That jacket is so cute! Awesome pictures!!
I love the jacket, and that lavender hair is gorgeous!
(And because I worry about online harassment and doxxing, I want to gently suggest for online+IRL safety concerns, Offbeat Bride blur their address on the envelope in the invitation photo. It’s always a risk for personal addresses to show up in very public spaces.)
Congratulations on your wedding!
Good call, thank you for the catch!!
