Welcome to another weekly edition of the Monday Montage: a collection of my favorite photos from the Offbeat Bride Flickr pool. This week features some of the best black-and-white themed wedding photos.
Zac and Angela had a “hallowedding.” Hence the costumes. They got married at the The Twentieth Century Club in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvannia.
Paige rocked this amazing feather-y hat/birdcage veil at her wedding. I can't wait to see more about their Scottish wedding.
There's nothing cooler than a fearless bridesmaid who will do anything for a good photo. Kristen's courageous bridesmaid/best friend had no qualms about hanging off the ladder on the roof to get this fun photo. My favorite part is her bare black feet. 😉
This badass bride isn't just posing with the guitar for effect — Vonny actually plays. In fact, she met her husband through the band, Echo Arcadia, in which they both play. They even put on a surprise show during their reception.
It should come as no surprise that Liz is a seamstress — She designed and drafted almost all of her Victorian-inspired wedding outfit. The skirt was made with over 98 yards of black tulle! That's nuts. She looks absolutely amazing.
It feels like time has been flying by lately. Luckily for me, another week means another chance to share more INCREDIBLE photos from the Offbeat... Read more
The caption on this photo reads, “Tequila + Wedding = AWESOME.” I couldn't agree with Marisa and Adam more.
Now, our newest feature on the Monday Montage: Clicky Links, a collection of cool wedding stuffs we've found around the net.
This week's Clicky Links:
- Stamp the date: A nifty way to DIY your STDs.
- The chick from Regretsy is getting married and writing a blog about it!
- Planning a Scottish wedding? Look at these awesome Tartan wedding dresses. (Thanks, Mary!)
- Instead of making a slideshow, Amanda and Vince made an adorable retro engagement video. Meow! (Thank you, Manda!)
Hey, photographers! I love you and do my best to attribute all Monday Montage photos, but sometimes brides don't include your info when they submit photos. If I've featured your work but it isn't properly credited, email me!
i love the *organicness* and freshness of these photos!

This is just dripping with cuteness and I just love it!
Thanks for the stamp the date clicky link, I’m quite taken by the idea. 😀
Yay, glad to see April Winchell’s column on here! It really is awesome and quite funny.
Also, I’m pretty sure I now have to buy a flask for my wedding day. Thanks for the survival tip!
Does Liz of the epic tulle and corset of gorgeousness have a website/store? Please say yes and add the link so I can follow it and score some epic tulle myself.
No she doesn’t unfortunately. She and her husband are full time Vegas performers and she does it for fun
That flask was SO necessary. The boys and the girls were fighting over it all morning.
I LOVE THIS!
Hi Coco,
Re: the picture of me and my guitar above, my husband’s name is Leigh, I’m actually called Vonny, sorry for the confusion! 🙂
Sorry about that Vonny! I have corrected your name. 🙂
Vonny, What a great way to ensure that the entertainment at the wedding was quality and boy do you look great too! Go Echo Arcadia!
OMG OMG OMG! Liz is actually now married to a long time friend of mine. He is a magician and she is his assistant in Vegas.
He wore a great black pinstripe suit with a red tie and had another close friend officiate.
You can find him on Facebook under Bizzaro Galore (his stage name)
