This stunning boho Half Moon Bay wedding gives us all the feels
Angelica and Brian’s Half Moon Bay wedding had a stunning coastal casual chic wedding with musical influences. The reception was (one of my favorites!) a Sunday brunch wedding featuring chicken and waffles, crab cakes, and spinach florentine benedicts. Don’t miss the embroidery hoops centerpieces, tambourine bouquets, bud vases, flower stands, and even coffee beans as decor. Oh, and the GORGEOUS ceremony backdrop! Instead of champagne toasting flutes, they got personalized beer steins and drank Not For Sale Calf-eine Coffee Milk Stout, a nonprofit that works against human trafficking worldwide. Let’s see the whole delicious and gorgeous event…
Wedding receiving line alternatives: No, you don’t have to hug everyone [UPDATED FOR 2022!]
We touched on the receiving line alternative issue way back in 2010 and the issue will always be relevant. Finding a way to greet guests without contact is a great idea for everyone. Let’s talk about a few alternatives to the receiving line that will minimize contact and maximize sweet moments of connecting with your guests and expressing gratitude.
Attention cinephiles: This movie-themed wedding decor takes top box office
Cinephiles: this movie-themed wedding decor will steal your theatrical heart. It’s the release of the decade. Beating box office records. Okay, you get the idea: it’s RAD AS HELL. We’re talking a Princess Bride meets Harry Potter cake, movie-theme tables including Finding Nemo, Spider-Man, Casablanca, and of course, loads of Harry Potter. Add in the toys, memorabilia, signs, candy buffet, wands from England, and a playlist of movie soundtrack tunes, and you’ve got the movie wedding to end all movie weddings.
Who needs flowers when tambourine bouquets are a thing?
Have we got a killer wedding coming up later this week for you, but I couldn’t wait to share this one particular detail with you. The bridesmaids had TAMBOURINE BOUQUETS! We love us some non-floral bouquet ideas, and this one is just so rad. Imagine walking down the aisle, gently shaking the tambourines and making such a lovely sound. Guh. Love. The best part? This was a DIY project by the bride and her crew. There’s a whole lot more DIY magic in store when we share the full wedding. Watch this space!
